Adcist 10mg injection belongs to the medication class known as an alkylating agent. It is an antineoplastics medicine that contains the active ingredient Cisplatin. It treats a certain type of cancer, such as testicular, ovarian, bladder, lung, cervical, head, and neck epithelial tumor, as a single or combined with radiotherapy. If you are allergic to Cisplatin or its ingredients, tell your doctor before starting treatment with this medication. Notice your doctor if you have hypersensitivity, myelosuppression (lower number of blood cells), or hearing difficulties. Adcist 10mg injection should not be taken if you have recently been vaccinated with a live vaccine, including yellow fever. So, inform your doctor if you are planning to have one.
Inform your doctor if you have any symptoms of nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) and if you have had any radiotherapy to the head. Both men and women are recommended to use effective contraception while receiving this medication and continue to use it for six months, even after receiving the final dose.
