Introduction to Azoran 50mg Tablet

Azoran 50mg Tablet contains an active component as Azathioprine. It is an immunosuppressive medication used to treat various autoimmune diseases and to prevent organ rejection after organ transplantation. It can help reduce joint inflammation and pain in people with rheumatoid arthritis. This medication is used to manage conditions like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, helping to control inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract. It can be used to treat certain manifestations of lupus when other treatments are not sufficient. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation and pain in the joints, affecting mobility and joint function.Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the digestive tract, causing symptoms like abdominal pain, diarrhea, and weight loss. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that leads to inflammation and ulcers in the colon and rectum.

Azoran 50mg Tablet can cause hypersensitivity reactions in some individuals, leading to symptoms like rash, swelling, fever, nausea, and blood disorders. The immunosuppressive effects of this medication can make it difficult for the body to fight infections. Therefore, it is typically avoided in individuals with active infections. It should be avoided in patients with severe bone marrow suppression or blood disorders. In cases of severe kidney dysfunction, its  use should be carefully considered and also needs close monitoring. It is generally not recommended for individuals with active malignancies or a history of certain cancers due to its potential to increase the risk of malignancy. Therapeutic Effects of Azoran 50mg Tablet

Azoran 50mg Tablet involves being converted into an active metabolite called 6-mercaptopurine within the body. 6-mercaptopurine is a purine analog, and it interferes with the synthesis of DNA and RNA in rapidly dividing cells, including immune cells. This disruption of nucleic acid synthesis suppresses the activity of the immune system by inhibiting the proliferation of immune cells. As a result, this medication reduces the production of antibodies and immune cells responsible for attacking the body's tissues in autoimmune diseases. The immunosuppressive effect helps to alleviate inflammation and control the symptoms of autoimmune conditions while also preventing the body from rejecting transplanted organs.
