Introduction to Concor 10mg Tablet
Concor 10mg Tablet belongs to a class of medications known as Anti-hypertensives. It contains the active ingredient bisoprolol. It is prescribed to treat hypertension, angina pectoris, and chronic heart failure. Hypertension is defined as a medical condition in which the blood generates an excessive force on the artery walls (blood vessels). Angina Pectoris refers to chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart. It might indicate coronary artery disease. Chronic heart failure occurs when your heart is unable to pump adequate oxygen-rich blood to meet your body's requirements.

Dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, headache, bradycardia, asthenia, fatigue, hypotension, coldness or numbness in the extremities, and worsening of pre-existing heart failure are the common side effects of Concor 10mg Tablet. Inform your healthcare provider if these side effects disturb or persist in you. This medication is not recommended for children.

Before treatment with this medication, let your physician know if you are experiencing any allergy to Concor 10mg Tablet and its ingredients. It is not recommended for people with severe asthma or chronic lung disease, slow or irregular heart rate, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, metabolic acidosis, or untreated pheochromocytoma. Avoid taking Concor 10mg Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Therapeutic Effects of Concor 10mg Tablet
Concor 10mg Tablet is a beta1-selective adrenoceptor-blocking agent that affects the body's response to certain nerve impulses, especially in the heart. It works by decreasing the heart rate and making it easier for the heart to flow blood throughout the body. As a result, it reduces blood pressure and the risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, other heart problems, or kidney problems.
Interaction of Concor 10mg Tablet with other drugs
Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Bisoprolol and reduce effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.Â

- Store Bisoprolol in the original package at room temperature (25°C). Do not freeze.
- Keep it out of reach from children and pets.
