Introduction to Contiflo T Capsule
Contiflo T capsule is a combination medicine containing tamsulosin and tadalafil, which belong to the group of alpha-blockers and phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors, respectively. It is prescribed to address lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia and treat erectile dysfunction during sexual stimulation.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) arises from insufficient blood flow, leading to the inability to sustain an erection during sexual stimulation. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) occurs when the prostate glands enlarge, causing lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) such as urinary obstruction, poor urination, and bladder pain. BPH also increases the risk of urinary retention.
This combination medication is not meant for use in women. Avoid taking contiflo T if you are allergic to tamsulosin hydrochloride, tadalafil, or any of its components. It is also not advisable if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used for angina or chest pain), experienced a heart attack in the past three months, had a stroke or heart failure in the past six months, or have severe liver or kidney impairment. It's crucial to inform your doctor about these conditions and provide a comprehensive overview of your medical history and all medications before starting this treatment.

Therapeutic Effects of Contiflo T Capsule
The combination medication contiflo T works by relaxing muscles in the prostate and bladder, making it easier to urinate for men with an enlarged prostate (BPH). Additionally, tadalafil enhances blood flow to the penis, helping men achieve and maintain erections (ED) during sexual stimulation.
Interaction of Contiflo T Capsule with other drugs
Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with contiflo T and cause undesirable side effects.
