Introduction to Dalbavan Injection

Dalba Injection contains an active component called dalbavancin. It belongs to the class of medicines called glycopeptide antibiotics. It is used to treat bacterial infections in adults and children who are three months old. It is also used to treat skin infections. 

Inform your doctor about your prescribed and non-prescribed medicine and take a proper diet while under medication. It will be helpful for him to treat you based on your previous medical condition or make some dose adjustments. Elderly patients with kidney disorders should be cautious while taking the medicine and inform their doctor before taking the medicine. Consult your doctor if you are planning to get pregnant or think you may be pregnant while breastfeeding.  Inform your doctor if you are allergic to dalba Injection or any of the ingredients present in them. Consult your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems or diarrhea.

Therapeutic Effects of Dalbavan Injection

Dalba injection acts by inhibiting the synthesis of cell walls in bacteria by binding with the peptidoglycan of the bacteria and is involved in bactericidal activity. It is the reason that the drug is effective against gram-positive bacteria (which have thick peptidoglycan) compared to gram-negative bacteria.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with dalba Injection and can cause undesirable side effects.
