Introduction to Dalbonova 500mg Injection
Dalbonova 500mg Injection contains an active component called dalbavancin. It belongs to the class of medicines called glycopeptide antibiotics. It is used to treat bacterial infections in adults and children who are three months old. It is also used to treat skin infections.
Inform your doctor about your prescribed and non-prescribed medicine and take a proper diet while under medication. It will be helpful for him to treat you based on your previous medical condition or make some dose adjustments.
Elderly patients with kidney disorders should be cautious while taking the medicine and inform their doctor before taking the medicine. Consult your doctor if you are planning to get pregnant or think you may be pregnant while breastfeeding.

Dalbonova 500mg Injection acts by inhibiting the synthesis of cell walls in bacteria by binding with the peptidoglycan of the bacteria and is involved in bactericidal activity. This is the reason that the drug is more effective against gram-positive bacteria (which have thick peptidoglycan) than gram-negative bacteria.
