Introduction to Dytor Plus Ls 10mg Tablet

Dytor plus LS 10 mg tablet contains the active constituent spironolactone and Torasemide which belongs to the class of aldosterone receptor antagonists and loop diuretics. These drugs are mainly used in the treatment of heart failure and in hypertension (patients with high blood pressure). It is also used to treat low potassium levels in the body which is otherwise known as hypokalemia and reduces the swelling (edema in the body).

This medication is taken as per the advice of the doctor. It can be taken in the morning in order to avoid frequent urination during night times. It’s important to take this medicine with food at the same time every day. You should not stop taking this medication when you feel better because it can cause the condition worse. If you are taking this medication for high blood pressure along with medication you have to follow lifestyle changes like exercising regularly and a low salt diet to increase the effectiveness of this medicine. Avoid consumption of alcohol as it increases the side effects of this medication

The common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, swelling. Tenderness of breasts is common in both men and women. Before you start this medication, discuss the kidney, heart and liver diseases that you have had for a longer period of time. The other drug works by increasing the excretion of water and electrolytes from the kidneys, which helps to reduce excess fluid buildup in the body.
