Introduction to Efectal Tz 1.125gm Injection
Efectal TZ 1.125gm injection contains an active component called ceftriaxone and tazobactam and it is belongs to a group of bactericidal antimicrobial and beta-lactamase inhibitors, respectively. It is used to treat bacterial infection. It is used for respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, skin infection, bone and joint infection. It is also used in adults and pediatric patients for the treatment of appendicitis (complicated by rupture or abscess) and peritonitis (redness or swelling of belly lining).
Inform your doctor if you have gastrointestinal disorder before using efectal TZ 1.125gm injection. Your doctor will recommend you to monitor the prothrombin time if you have hepatic disorder or malnutrition. Children with hyperbilirubinemia should be cautious before using the medicine. Efectal TZ 1.125gm injection blocks the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall by binding to its proteins, tazobactam inhibits all beta-lactamases which are produced by bacteria to raise resistance against beta-lactam antibiotics. Through this way, it kills the bacteria and prevents infection.
