Introduction to Endocryl Injection
Endocryl Injection contains an active component of n-butyl cyanoacrylate. It is a tissue adhesive solution that controls bleeding in skin wounds, including surgical incisions. It also eliminates the chance of infection and accelerates the wound-healing process. It controls variceal (bleeding from the enlarged or swollen veins) gastrointestinal bleeding. It also fixes hernia meshes (a medical device that supports damaged tissue) in hernia surgery.Â
You must inform your physician if you are allergic to cyanoacrylates or have any allergic conditions before undergoing Endocryl injection therapy. Give your physician a detailed account of your medical history and medications before starting the treatment.
