Introduction to Etibo 250mg Tablet

Etibo 250mg Tablet contains the active ingredient lapatinib. It is indicated to treat advanced breast cancer and it may be used alone or in combination with other medications. It is effective against cells sensitive to hormones and rapidly multiplying cancer cells that produce most of the protein called human epidermal growth receptor -2.

The common side effects that are likely to occur while you are on the treatment with Etibo 250mg Tablet are nausea, vomiting, tiredness, weakness, itching, dry skin, loss of appetite, indigestion, constipation, mouth ulcers, stomach pain, difficulty in sleeping, joint or back pain, cough, breathing problems, headache, etc. If you experience severe allergic reactions, skin rashes, heart, liver, and lung problems, report your physician immediately.

Inform your healthcare provider at the first sign of diarrhea or dehydration. Monitor your blood pressure regularly while taking Etibo 250mg Tablet. If you have diarrhea while taking this medication, drink plenty of fluids, eat low-fat, high-protein foods, and avoid milk and its products and herbal supplements.

Etibo 250mg Tablet acts against the enzyme called tyrosine kinase. It prevents the Human epidermal growth factor receptor protein (HER2) and Epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFRs) from signaling, which are produced by breast cancer cells. It kills cancer cells and slows down their growth.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Etibo 250mg Tablet Injection and cause undesirable side effects.
