Introduction to Evenity Injection

Evenity Injection contains the active ingredient Romosozumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody that plays a dual role in promoting bone formation while reducing bone resorption. It is specifically used for the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women who are at high risk of fractures. This therapy is designed to reduce the incidence of vertebral and non-vertebral fractures in patients with severe osteoporosis.

Uses of Evenity Injection

  • Treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at high risk of fracture
  • Reducing the incidence of vertebral and non-vertebral fractures

Therapeutic Effects of Evenity Injection

Romosozumab, the active ingredient in Evenity Injection, works by inhibiting sclerostin, a regulatory protein involved in bone metabolism. By blocking sclerostin, Romosozumab leads to increased bone formation and decreased bone resorption, resulting in improved bone mineral density (BMD) and reduced risk of fractures.

Interaction of Evenity Injection with other drugs

Evenity Injection may interact with other medications. Inform your doctor of all medications you are taking, especially calcium supplements, vitamin D supplements, or other osteoporosis medications.

More Information about Evenity Injection

  • Do not freeze.
  • Keep it out of reach of children.

How to consume Evenity Injection

Evenity Injection should be administered once a month as a subcutaneous injection, usually in the upper arm, abdomen, or thigh. Each dose of Romosozumab should be administered by a healthcare professional as per your doctor’s instructions. It is vital to maintain adequate levels of calcium and vitamin D during treatment to minimize the risk of hypocalcemia
