Genryzon 24mg Injection is used to treat children and adolescents (ages 3 years and above) diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency (GHD). The deficiency leads to a slower growth rate compared to normal. Genryzon 24mg Injection helps to restore healthy growth patterns by providing a synthetic form of human growth hormone.

Genryzon 24mg Injection contains the active substance somatrogon, a modified version of the human growth hormone. This hormone is essential for promoting bone and muscle development and regulating the right balance between fat and muscle tissue. By supplementing the body's natural hormone levels, it ensures proper growth in children with GHD.

It is important to inform your healthcare provider about any other medications you or the child in your care are currently taking. For example:

• Corticosteroids (like glucocorticoids) can reduce Genryzon 24mg Injection's effects on growth. Regular dosage adjustments may be needed.
• Diabetes medications (like insulin) may require dosage changes during Genryzon 24mg Injection treatment.
• Thyroid hormones might also need adjustment to ensure optimal results.
• Oral estrogens, anticonvulsants, or ciclosporin (an immune suppressant) may affect the efficacy or require close monitoring.

• Keep this medication stored safely and out of the reach of children.
• Do not use Genryzon 24mg Injection after the expiration date indicated on the pen and packaging. The expiry date is valid until the last day of the mentioned month.
• After first use, the pre-filled pen should be discarded after 28 days.

Genryzon 24mg Injection should be administered once weekly, preferably on the same day each week. The dose can be given at any time of the day, but it is essential to maintain at least 72 hours (3 days) between doses if a change in schedule is necessary.

Genryzon 24mg Injection can be injected subcutaneously (under the skin) in areas such as your abdomen, thighs, buttocks, or upper arms. Always rotate the injection site to prevent irritation or discomfort. If more than one injection is required, ensure each one is administered at a different site.
