Kabiven solutions contain active components called amino acids, electrolytes, dextrose, and lipids. It is a parenteral nutrition (PN) medication that provides nutritional support to patients who cannot receive oral nutrition. It is used to prevent essential fatty acid deficiency or to treat negative nitrogen balance in adult patients. It is used as part of a balanced intravenous diet, which can be given together with salts, trace elements, and vitamins. It helps to meet the complete nutritional needs of your body.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to eggs, soya, or peanuts before using the medicine. Inform your doctor if you have high cholesterol levels, lung, liver, kidney, and heart problems, diabetes, and blood disorders before starting the medicine.
