Introduction to Mycolon C Tablet
Mycolon C Tablet contains an active component called Chlordiazepoxide and Mebeverine. It is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The main symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome are spasms, stomach pain, feeling bloated, diarrhea, and pellet-like or ribbon-like stools. This medicine relieves the symptoms and excessive anxiety associated with IBS. It is not advisable for children and adolescents under the age of 18.
You should avoid this medication if you are hypersensitive to Mycolon C Tablet or any of its components. Talk to your doctor if you have a history of drug or alcohol abuse, mental illness, myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness disorder), severe liver disorders, breathing problems, kidney disorders, or recently suffered a loss of loved ones before taking this medication. Do not drink alcohol while taking Mycolon C Tablet, as you may feel drowsy.

Therapeutic Effects of Mycolon C Tablet
Chlordiazepoxide increases the concentration of inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA and chloride ions. This reduces the excitation of the neurons, producing muscle relaxation and sedation. Mebeverine is an antispasmodic that relaxes the muscles by inhibiting gastrointestinal propulsive motility and gastric acid secretion.

Inform the doctor about your medicines, including prescription, over-the-counter, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with the Mycolon C Tablet, reducing effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.
