Introduction to Ritza 5mg Tablet

Ritza 5mg tablet contains an active component such as Rizatriptan. It is a medication primarily used for the treatment of migraines.  It can be effective for both migraines with and without aura. It can also treat cluster headaches, another type of severe headache. It often relieves multiple migraine symptoms, including pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound.  Rebound headaches occur when medications used to treat headaches are overused, worsening headache symptoms. It can help individuals return to their normal activities.

If you have a history of hypersensitivity reactions (allergic reactions) to Ritza 5mg tablet, discuss this with your healthcare provider before taking it. It should not be used by individuals with a history of ischemic heart disease, including angina (chest pain due to reduced blood flow to the heart) or a heart attack. Individuals with uncontrolled high blood pressure (hypertension) should not take this medication, as it can further increase in blood pressure, potentially posing health risks.

Individuals should not take it with a history of hemiplegic or basilar migraine. It should not be used within 24 hours of taking another triptan medication. It should not be used in individuals with severe renal impairment (kidney dysfunction). This medication is approved for acute migraine treatment in adolescents aged 6 to 17. This medication can be used in elderly individuals, but caution is advised, particularly if other underlying health conditions exist.
