Introduction to Rosuvas 10mg Tablet

Rosuvas 10mg tablet contains the active ingredient Rosuvastatin. It belongs to the category of medicines called statins and fibric acid derivatives. This medication treats high cholesterol and prevents heart attacks and strokes. It is advised to take a low-cholesterol diet and do regular exercises while taking this medication. 

Do not consume this medicine if you are allergic to Rosuvastatin or it’s other ingredients. Inform your physician if you have kidney or liver problems, severe respiratory failure, thyroid problems, continuous muscle pain, or if you are drinking heavy amounts of alcohol regularly before starting treatment with Rosuvas 10mg tablet, and do not take it unless prescribed by your doctor.  

Before starting treatment with this tablet, inform your doctor if you are taking fusidic acid or have taken it in the last seven days to treat bacterial infection. Also, inform your doctor before starting treatment with this medication about any anti-viral medications (including medications for HIV or hepatitis C infection) you are taking. This medication contains lactose; inform your doctor if you are lactose intolerant before starting treatment. Do not consume Rosuvas 10mg tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Therapeutic Effects of Rosuvas 10mg Tablet

Rosuvas 10mg tablet works by reducing Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels. It works by slowing down cholesterol production, and lowering blood cholesterol levels.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Rosuvas 10mg tablet and can cause undesirable side effects.
