Introduction to Tecentriq 840mg Injection
Tecentriq 840mg injection is an anticancer medication containing the active ingredient Atezolizumab which belongs to the class of medicine called monoclonal antibody (Mab). It is indicated to treat cancer in the bladder, lungs, liver, and breast. Mab is a type of protein, to get attached to a specific target in the body. This antibody helps the immune system to fight against cancer. This medicine is used as adjuvant therapy (treatment after surgery) for lung cancer conditions where the cancer is not spread to other body parts. It is either used alone or with a combination of other anticancer medicine.
Do not take a Tecentriq 840mg injection if you are allergic to Atezolizumab or other medicine ingredients. This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents. Notify your healthcare professional if you experience any symptoms like inflammation of the lung, liver, intestine, thyroid, adrenal glands, and pituitary gland; your doctor might prescribe other medications to prevent complications and reduce the symptoms.
Before takingTecentriq 840mg, inform your doctor if you have or ever had an autoimmune disease (the body attacks its cells), HIV infection or AIDS, past with pneumonitis (inflammation of the lung), infections like HIV/AIDS, a chronic viral infection of the liver (hepatitis B / hepatitis C). Also, notify if you have been given any live, attenuated vaccine, antibiotic within the two weeks, or any medicine to improve or suppress your immune system. Report your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant. Use effective birth control during and even after the treatment for five months.

How to consume Tecentriq 840mg Injection
A trained doctor or nurse should only administer it. Do not self-administer the injection. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of your treatment based on the disease severity and other factors. It will be given as an intravenous infusion, and you will be monitored carefully for unwanted side effects. The first infusion will take around 60 minutes and must be monitored carefully. If there is no infusion reaction for the first dose, the next infusion will last 30 minutes.

Liver
