Introduction to Tfct Nib 5mg Tablet
TFCT NIB 5mg tablet contains the active substance Tofacitinib. It is a disease-modifying anti-rheumatoid drug (DMARDs) that belongs to the class immunomodulators. It is used alone or with other medications to treat rheumatoid arthritis (A condition in which the body attacks its joints, causing pain, swelling, and loss of function) in adults who are unable to take or do not respond to other medications. It is also used to treat psoriatic arthritis (A condition that causes joint pain and swelling, and scales on the skin). It is also indicated for treating adult patients with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis. Â
Other uses of TFCT NIB 5mg tablet include ankylosing spondylitis (inflammatory disease of the spine). It is also used to treat active polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis, a long-term disease mainly causes pain and swelling of your joints in patients 2 years of age and older. The medicine works by decreasing the activity of the immune system. Inform your physician if you have a severe blood infection, active tuberculosis, and liver problems. Notify your doctor if you ever had or have a hepatitis B infection because this medicine could cause the hepatitis B to become active again.  Â
Do not take TFCT NIB 5mg tablet if you are allergic to tofacitinib or any other ingredients of this medicine. Inform your healthcare professional if you have any symptoms of an infection, such as fever, sweating, chills, muscle aches, cough, shortness of breath, weight loss, skin sores, difficulty or pain when swallowing, diarrhea, or stomach pain. Before initiating the treatment, inform your physician if you have kidney, heart, lung, or liver problems, a history of tuberculosis, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol, and also if you are a current or past smoker.

Therapeutic Effects of Tfct Nib 5mg Tablet
TFCT NIB 5mg tablet is a disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) in the category of Janus Kinase Inhibitors. Janus kinase is a type of enzyme (tyrosine kinase) involved in the signaling of cytokine receptors. It works by inhibiting Janus kinases and interferes with the transcription of genes involved in cell growth and differentiation.

Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, vaccinations, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with the effects of TFCT NIB 5mg tablet and reduce its effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

- Store tofacitinb at room temperature (20°C to 25°C)
- keep the tablet away from the reach of children and pets.
- If you forgot to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose.
- Do not take a double dose to make up a forgotten dose.
How to consume Tfct Nib 5mg Tablet
Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment based on your disease condition, severity, and other factors. Take the tablets as prescribed by your doctor. Do not break, crush, or chew the tablets. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Take the tablet with or without food.

Pregnancy
 ÂTFCT NIB 5mg tablet is unsafe to administer in pregnant women because it may affect the fetus. Inform your physician if you are pregnant, suspect pregnancy, or planning to become pregnant. Using an effective birth control method during the treatment and for at least 4 weeks after your last dose is necessary. Â

Breast Feeding
 ÂBreastfeeding is not recommended in patients taking TFCT NIB 5mg tablet because the medicine passes into the breast milk in small amounts and may harm your baby.Â

Lungs
 ÂIt is unknown whether TFCT NIB 5mg tablet can be used in patients with lung disorders. Consult your doctor if you have any lung diseases before starting the treatment.

Liver
 ÂTFCT NIB 5mg tablet is unsafe when administered in patients with severe liver diseases. Dose adjustments are necessary in severe liver failure. Inform your physician if you have liver problems before initiating the therapy. Â
