Introduction to Truvataz R Kit Tablet
Truvataz R Kit tablet consists of the active substance called Atazanavir, Emtricitabine, Ritonavir, Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate. Atazanavir, Ritonavir is an antiviral medicine which belongs to the family called protease inhibitors. Emtricitabine, Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate is an antiretroviral medicine belonging to nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI). This medicine is used for HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection. It works by inhibiting the enzymes (HIV reverse transcriptase) which is important for virus replication. This medicine is not suggested for children under 12 years.
Do not consume Truvataz R Kit tablet if you have experienced allergic reactions to Atazanavir, Emtricitabine, Ritonavir, Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate or any of its ingredients. During the Atazanavir, Emtricitabine, Ritonavir, and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate tablet treatment, your doctor may periodically monitor your blood counts, bone mineral density, heart, liver, and kidney parameters to prevent serious complications. Report to your doctor if you have had a history of heart failure (PR prolongation), hypersensitivity (toxic skin eruptions, or Stevens-Johnson syndrome), pancreatitis, bone disease (osteoporosis), liver (chronic hepatitis B or C), or kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you are 65 years old.
Patients consuming this medicine may develop immune reconstitution syndrome, diabetes mellitus, excessive body fat, and hyperbilirubinemia. Truvataz R Kit tablet should not be given to patients with existing kidney problems. Report to your physician if you are on a phosphate diet, as this medicine contains phosphate. If you have lactose intolerance, notify your doctor before starting the treatment. Report your doctor if you are planning to get pregnant or think you may be pregnant. Breastfeeding is not suggested due to the potential transmission of HIV. Use effective contraception to avoid transmission of HIV infection from patients

Therapeutic Effects of Truvataz R Kit Tablet
Atazanavir and Ritonavir inhibit the viral enzyme (protease). Emtricitabine and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate inhibit the enzyme reverse transcriptase; inhibiting these enzymes blocks the multiplication of the virus and prevents the release of viral particles in the body to treat the HIV infection.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Truvataz R Kit tablet and can cause undesirable side effects.

How to consume Truvataz R Kit Tablet
Truvataz R Kit tablet are film-coated tablets. The usual recommended dosage of this medication is one tablet every day, without or with food. Your physician will choose the dosage and administration frequency based on the medical condition because it differs for each person. Do not chew, crush, dissolve or break the tablet.

Pregnancy
Notify your healthcare professional if you are pregnant or planning to have a baby think you may be pregnant. Your physician will conduct regular tests to monitor the development of your child. Ask for suggestions before taking the Truvataz R Kit tablet.
Breast Feeding

Lungs
It is unknown whether Truvataz R Kit tablet is safe for patients with lung problems. Inform your physician if you have any lung disease before starting the treatment. Contact your doctor if you experience any lung-related symptoms.
Liver
Inform your physician about any underlying liver disorders before taking Truvataz R Kit tablet, as these drugs should be used with caution in liver disease patients. Your doctor may monitor your liver enzymes. Consult your physician before taking this medicine.
Alcohol
Do not consume alcohol while taking the Truvataz R Kit tablet, as this injection may cause drowsiness with alcohol.
Driving
Driving while taking Truvataz R Kit tablet is unsafe because this medicine might cause vision problems and tiredness, so avoid driving and operating machinery during this treatment.

You must continue the medication to avoid this complication. Most patients experience asymptomatic increases in hyperbilirubinemia (increase in bilirubin).
