Warnings

Precautions

Also, check with your doctor in case you have hypovolemia (decrease in volume of circulating blood), if you have benign prostatic hyperplasia with urinary retention or if you are taking antidepressants as it may interfere with Dopamine Hydrochloride.

Side Effects

Headache, nausea and vomiting, palpitation, trouble breathing (dyspnoea), low blood pressure, and chest pain are common side effects seen with the use of dopamine hydrochloride injection.

Inform your doctor if you have a history of cardiac arrhythmias, hypotension, or hypersensitivity reactions. If you experience any symptoms mentioned as a side effect, consult your doctor immediately. Avoid taking  Tricyclic antidepressant drugs while you are under the Dopamine Hydrochloride treatment.
