Introduction to Aktocyte 750mg Tablet

Aktocyte 750mg Tablet contains an active component called Mulberry leaf extract. It has shown antimutagenic and antioxidant properties, which help prevent genetic damage in individuals. 

It is an adjuvant to cancer radiotherapy and has shown remarkable results in pelvic cancer patients who are suffering from radiotherapy-induced cystitis (radiation in the pelvis can damage the lining of the bladder). It helps in the fast recovery of cancer patients and prevents the need for cystectomy (removal of bladder) in patients. The experts from the Department of Atomic Energy and IDRS labs were involved in the development of Aktocyte tablets with the aim of reducing the side effects of radiotherapy. It is a Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) approved tablet.
