Introduction to Enaped 2.5mg Tablet

The enaped 2.5mg tablet  contains an active component called enalapril maleate. This medicine belongs to ACE inhibitors (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors). This medication is used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure and to prevent the symptoms of it (shortness of breath, tiredness after physical activity like walking, or swelling of the ankles and feet). Inform your doctor if you are allergic to enaped 2.5mg tablet  or any of the ingredients present in them and swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue, or throat, which causes difficulty in swallowing or breathing (angioedema), diabetes, or impaired kidney function.

Consult your doctor before any surgery or anesthesia administration (including dental procedures) if you are under enaped 2.5mg tablet medication, and children with liver disorders and elderly patients with kidney problems should be cautious while taking the medicine. Consult your doctor if you are planning to get pregnant or think you may be pregnant while breastfeeding.

Therapeutic Effects of Enaped 2.5mg Tablet

Enaped 2.5mg tablet  inhibits the Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), which is involved in the conversion of angiotensin-I to angiotensin-II (a substance that tightens the blood vessels) by preventing the formation of angiotensin-II; it expands the blood vessels and helps to lower the blood pressure and risk of heart failure.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Enaped 2.5mg tablet  and can cause undesirable side effects.

How to consume Enaped 2.5mg Tablet

Take an enaped 2.5mg tablet as your physician advises. Swallow the tablets whole and intact. This capsule should be taken with food. It is recommended to monitor your blood pressure and glucose level, potassium, and creatinine level because enaped 2.5mg tablet may cause low blood pressure elevation of potassium and creatinine levels. Inform your doctor if you have a heart problem, a condition involving the blood vessels in the brain, blood problem, liver problem, or lactose intolerance because it contains lactose as an ingredient.
