Introduction to Silochet D Tablet

Silochet D Tablets are a combination of two active ingredients called Dutasteride and Silodosin, which help to relieve the symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate in adults. It is mainly used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate. Dutasteride and Silodosim belong to the family called 5-Alpha reductase inhibitors and Alpha-1 blockers. Taking this medication can help to reduce the problems like difficulty in urination, frequent urination, and other related symptoms. This medicine is specifically for men and should not be taken by women or children.

Silochet D Tablets should not be consumed if you are allergic to Dutasteride, Silodosin, or any of the ingredients in the medication. Do not consume this medicine if you have severe liver or kidney problems. Notify your doctor if you have heart disease or if you notice breast lumps or nipple discharge. It is advised to use contraceptives to avoid the transfer of semen. Inform your doctor if you are taking this medicine during a PSA test because it can affect PSA blood tests for detecting prostate cancer.

Therapeutic Effects of Silochet D Tablet

Silochet D Tablets capsule blocks the conversion of the hormone testosterone to dihydrotestosterone by blocking an enzyme called 5α-reductase in the genital region. This reduces the concentration of dihydrotestosterone in the blood and increases the urine flow rate.


Interaction of Silochet D Tablet with other drugs

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Silochet D Tablets and can cause undesirable side effects.
