Introduction to Toujeo Cartridge

Toujeo Cartridge contains insulin. It is used to treat type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults and children aged two years and above. Diabetes mellitus is a disorder in which your body does not produce enough insulin or cells don’t respond normally to insulin resulting in high levels of sugar in the blood. Insulin facilitates the entry of glucose to all cells of the body.

Talk to your physician if you have kidney disorders, liver disorders, or heart problems before taking Toujeo Cartridge. Your insulin dose may need to be modified during pregnancy, and after giving birth, so talk to your physician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medication.

Avoid drinking alcohol while being treated with Toujeo Cartridge. You need to inform your physician about all the medications you are taking recently, including herbal medications and supplements as certain medicines may significantly alter blood sugar levels.
