The amlodipine + bisoprolol is used for the medical purpose to treat hypertension (high blood pressure).

Amlodipine (calcium channel blocker) and Bisoprolol (beta blocker), used to treat hypertension. This combination of medicine controls blood pressure when a single medication is ineffective.

Follow the instructions as directed by your doctor. Amlodipine + bisoprolol tablets can be taken with or without food. With a glass of water, swallow the whole tablet. Do not chew, break, or chew it.

The common side effects that are experienced while you are on the treatment with amlodipine + bisoprolol, headache, fatigue, dizziness and drowsiness, edema (swelling), bradycardia (slow heart rate), palpitations (irregular heartbeat), cold extremities, stomach pain. Report your doctor immediately, if you experience Worsening of pre-existing heart failure (increased breathlessness) and fluid retention.

If you ever fainted or felt dizzy when suddenly standing up, consult your doctor before taking this medication. Avoid taking Amlodipine+ Bisoprolol if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medicine can cause drowsiness or fatigue (tiredness). Avoid driving or using machines while taking amlodipine + bisoprolol.

Before treatment with this medication, let your physician know if you are experiencing any allergic reaction to Amlodipine or Bisoprolol and its ingredients. Report to your physician if you have liver or kidney condition, heart failure, diabetes, asthma, cardiogenic shock, coronary heart disease, heart attack, hypotension (low blood pressure), or heart valve problem (stenosis). Hence, regularly monitor your blood pressure level if you have a stroke or any heart problems.

Drink plenty of water when taking this medication to avoid muscle weakness, dry mouth, and severe thirst. While using Amlodipine+ Bisoprolol, avoid consuming grapefruit and its juices as they may raise the concentration of this medicine and worsen its side effects. Limit your daily consumption of sodium chloride (table salt). Do not skip doses without consulting your doctor since this may raise blood pressure and increase the risk of a heart attack.
