Introduction to Melanil Cream 15ml

Melanil (15ml) Cream has two active ingredients: Glutathione and Kojic acid. Glutathione has antioxidant and anti-melanogenic properties, making it valuable for treating aging and lightening skin. Melanil is derived from fungal species of Acetobacter, Aspergillus, and Penicillium. Melanin is a naturally occurring pigment in the body that gives the eyes, hair, and skin their color. An amino acid called tyrosine is needed to support the production of melanin. Kojic acid works by blocking tyrosine from forming, preventing melanin production. Decreased melanin production may have a lightening effect on the skin. In addition to skin-lightening properties, it reduces inflammation and pain and protects from light.

Melanin prevents skin damage caused by ultraviolet rays. Genetic factors can affect skin color, but UV radiation induction, inflammation, and hormonal changes cause melanocytes to synthesize more melanin. Overproduction of melanin could result in skin pigment disorders.

Do not apply this cream if you are allergic to Glutathione, Kojic acid, and other components. Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor if you are using another anti-spot cream below 18 years old. Notify your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant while using Melanil. This can make the skin more sensitive to the sunlight; hence always use sunscreen and protective clothing before you step outdoors.
